The first response might have been just to tear down this turn of the century fishing bungalow on the Sudbury River Conservation land.
However, there were a number of endearing cottage-like features that seemed to fit the site nicely. |

We decided to make it into more of a cottage, by demolishing some non-functional areas, and to add a new addition that was in keeping with this grander cottage feeling. |

At the center was an elliptical kitchen, in two tones, and a curved bookshelf wall to distinguish this area from the rest. |

A 1 ½ story porch, with a connecting bridge, complemented the natural connection. |
